1 Academic Avenue
Johnstown, PA 15904
The Richland Performing Arts Center is located on Academic Avenue, on the campus of Richland High School.
Built in 2006-2007, Richland Theatre is like no other theatre in our area. Theatrical Events performed by amateurs and professionals have performed on the very stage we call home today.
Our Theatre hosts performances ranging from school assemblies, concerts, musicals, plays, and dances, to full-scale theatrical productions. It is used by the school district and is also available for outside hire. The facility has a huge fly system, comprehensive lighting rig and full sound-reinforcement system, as well as stage communications and other systems.
Performing Arts Staff as well as Theatrical Equipment are very important for making your production a success. At Richland Performing Arts Center, we strive to have a huge inventory of light fixtures, replacement bulbs, and gels. Also, our sound system provides the digital sound you always wanted with crystal clear effects.
The entire school district uses our facilities as well as opening our doors to the public and professionals to use. The school uses the theater for a wide variety of applications; ranging from school assemblies to community meetings, ensemble performances and full-scale productions.
The building was designed by the architectural firm of L. Robert Kimball and Associates in Ebensburg, Pennsylvania.
